Why we built Signal
The marketing data infrastructure industry has a fundamental problem: every vendor wants their JavaScript on your page. The result is 800KB+ of third-party scripts competing for bandwidth, exposing your customers to data leaks, and creating attribution data that expires after 7 days in Safari.
Meanwhile, ad blockers hide 20-40% of your best customers from analytics entirely. Browser privacy restrictions get stricter every year. And consent regulations demand audit trails that client-side tags simply cannot provide.
We built Datafly Signal because we believed there had to be a better way: a single lightweight collector that replaces all vendor tags, with server-side delivery to every marketing platform — running in your own infrastructure, under your control.
Founded by Neill Brookman
Neill has spent the last decade building first-party data infrastructure at MetaRouter and Treasure Data. Signal is the product he wished existed when he was on the other side of these problems — one server-side platform that runs inside the customer’s own VPC, replaces every vendor script, and doesn’t leak revenue to ad blockers.
Signal is built on the conviction that first-party data infrastructure should be customer-hosted by default, not as an afterthought. Every architectural decision reflects this: single-tenant isolation, VPC deployment, zero Datafly access to customer data, and 120+ vendor integrations included at no extra cost.

Customer-hosted by default
Signal is designed to run in your cloud account. GCP, AWS, Azure — any cloud, any region. We provide the Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests; you own the infrastructure and the data.

No vendor lock-in
