SAP Commerce Cloud

Server-side customer-profile sync to SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly SAP Hybris) via the Integration API Module's OData V2 services. Identified Signal users are upserted as Customer records on a customer-defined inbound Integration Object (/odata2webservices/<IntegrationObject>/<EntitySet>), authenticated with OAuth 2.0 client_credentials. Attribute names target the default Customer integration schema (uid, name, contactEmail) and must be tuned to the deployed Integration Object.

Datafly Signal delivers first-party events to SAP Commerce Cloud server-to-server from infrastructure you control, using a pre-built blueprint that maps your event schema to the payload SAP Commerce Cloud expects.

Why route SAP Commerce Cloud through Datafly Signal

Profiles update from the server, not the browser

Events reach SAP Commerce Cloud even when a tracker blocker or a failed page unload would have dropped a client-side call, so the profile reflects what actually happened.

Token lifecycle is handled for you

Signal obtains and refreshes the OAuth credentials SAP Commerce Cloud requires, so nothing expires quietly in the middle of a campaign.

One consent decision governs every destination

SAP Commerce Cloud is gated by the same consent state as the rest of your stack, so a withdrawal applies everywhere at once.

What ships in the blueprint

Mapped events

Vertical presets

Customer Sync. Each preset starts from a working configuration for that vertical rather than a blank field map.

Full field mappings, configuration fields, and troubleshooting are in the SAP Commerce Cloud documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Does Datafly Signal integrate with SAP Commerce Cloud?

Yes. Datafly Signal delivers first-party events to SAP Commerce Cloud server-to-server from infrastructure you control, using a pre-built blueprint that maps your event schema to the payload SAP Commerce Cloud expects. The integration is included in every deployment at no additional cost.

How is server-side SAP Commerce Cloud tracking different from the SAP Commerce Cloud tag?

The SAP Commerce Cloud tag runs in the visitor's browser, so it is subject to ad blockers, tracking prevention, and page-unload races. Signal collects the event through a first-party endpoint on your own domain and delivers it to SAP Commerce Cloud from your server, so delivery does not depend on browser conditions.

Which events can Signal send to SAP Commerce Cloud?

The blueprint ships with mappings for _comment_consent, _comment_no_page_event, identify, login, sign_up. Any event in your schema can be mapped to SAP Commerce Cloud through pipeline configuration without a code change.

Do I need to keep the SAP Commerce Cloud tag on my site?

No. Signal delivers to SAP Commerce Cloud from the server, so no client-side SAP Commerce Cloud script is required on your site.
